The 2017 Maitland Show
Following our very successful Saturday show in 2016 the committee has decided to stay with a Saturday show day. Our 2017 show will be held on SATURDAY 11th MARCH 2017. Save this date in your diaries and come along for a family day of fun and activities. Maitland's own 'Old Fella' Rod Gregory of Australia's Got Talent fame will be opening our 2017 show.
The 2017 Maitland Show Committee is already busy planning the exciting entertainment for the day. We have some of the old favourites returning as well as some new entertainment.
Gary Baxter will be returning with his V8 utes for some more action on the Elias Smith Oval.
A few years ago we had Australia's Pig Racing Team making their debut at the Maitland Show. This year they will be returning with a whole new show.
Our R/C Trucks will be back again with a brand new and improved track.
If you missed your chance to race Baarbaara and Shorn our racing sheep they will be returning.
Healey's Animal will again provide animals for the petting zoo.
Rides and sideshows for the whole family.

PRESIDENT'S WELCOME
"Welcome to our 139th annual Maitland Show to be held on Saturday, 11th March 2017. After the success of our 2016 show the committee has decided to continue holding our show on the Saturday of the March long weekend. Its time to showcase Maitland to Yorke Peninsula & the many visitors who come to the area on a long week end. We are trying to make it an entertaining day for workers, families and visitors alike. The committee is putting in a huge effort to make the day a success. All are invited to enter in the many competitions, exhibits, stalls & produce.
